Basic steps to finding the right property
- Contact KPM Residential to provide us with your requirements and we will locate a suitable property for you. Alternatively, why not use our property search engine to view available properties online.
- Once you have located a suitable property, we will arrange for accompanied viewings and answer any questions you may have. Should you decide to proceed with the letting, we will ask you to complete a Tenancy Application Form and return it to our office as soon as possible so that we can process your application.
- As part of the approval process, we require all potential tenants to provide us with suitable references to ensure that they are reliable and able to afford the rent. This usually takes the form of providing bank details and/or a letter from your employer confirming employment. References from former landlords are also useful. Having your references readily available should minimise delays in approving your application.
- Upon approval of your application and having paid the necessary deposits and advances, you will be given a tenancy agreement to sign before you move in. This details your rights and responsibilities that you and your landlord will have during the tenancy. Should you have any questions regarding this agreement, we are happy to clarify anything that you are unclear on. All tenants must sign the tenancy agreement before they can move in.
- On the day that you move into your property, or before if it is more convenient, we will ask you to be present to check the inventory list and to sign it. This document is very important as it will be used as the basis of any compensation claims made against you by the landlord.
In order for you to enjoy the comforts of your new home, we ask that you pay your ongoing monthly rent by bank standing order.
